In collaboration with James Polshek The memorial, AMTABHAN, is a testament to Babasaheb Ambedkar’s life and beliefs, of rediscovering one’s own journey towards self-realization or 'self awareness' by experiencing the milestones in Ambedkar's journey towards his own AMTABHAN. It is a symbol of respect, love and acknowledgement towards Babasaheb Ambedkar’s contribution at a national and global level. Not only will it serve as a centre for educating future generations about the importance of Babasaheb Ambedkar’s legacy, but also displays his vision to show people to rise through their own darkness to claim the right to see the light of freedom, equality and enlightenment.   AMTABHANis a proposal to develop a memorable and inspiring experience, as well as a visual, intellectual, and physical journey. It will be a national venue for millions of people that visit Chaitya Bhoomi during Ambedkar Jayanti and a permanent venue for Mumbaikars who deserve a vibrant public space, a plaza that will incorporate a new civic centre and a tranquil destination designed for discovery of the self.
