Everything about the 22 acres TCS campus in the Mumbai suburbs of Andheri comes as a surprise. The plot feels like a forest reserve in the cities industrial heartland. For the first phase Gandavali and Sarosh Villa, which are old colonial bungalows were restored, converted and transformed and are now state of the art executive briefing centres. On the first floor of Gandavali is an entire wall of video cubes, where the executives can sit and hold video conferences worldwide.
The bungalows now house conference rooms, lounges etc. the immense volume of these historic, lofty, high ceiling spaces have been adapted to new requirements sensitively. Gandavali and Sarosh Villas formed a part of the existing buildings on the Redlands property at Andheri. We restored and adapted these two villas and converted them into 'State of the art' executive briefing centers and an executive dining complex. Old and new Redlands, now called orchid and lotus, were two existing guest houses on the TCS campus. We have renovated and upgraded them while preserving their sense of place.
