VOICE (Voluntary Organisation in Community Enterprise), Vasai VOICE is a non-government organization for which the firm had the privilege of building the VOICE Home. Based on the requirements for this project that include classrooms and dormitories for eighty children supported by a cafeteria, library and administrative facilities the concept was to create an inspiring yet protective group of buildings for the children.

Local materials and detailing was used so that the children could identify with the structures as the buildings became a part of their vernacular heritage. The buildings were built taking into consideration the issues of climate, the site, construction methods and materials used specifically keeping the user in mind. As the complex integrated these elements it automatically became an eco-friendly and sustainable.
