It is a complex that must be experienced and enjoyed and will hopefully raise the spirit of children as they move through its parts horizontally and vertically. However, there are FIVE different means by which architects and planners can either promote or prevent social isolation and contact. 

By working with these five principles individually or in combinations, it is possible to set physical pre-requisites for isolation and contact respectively. These principles that must be integrated into the design depending on whether isolation or contact is necessary, but primarily the creation of ‘contact’ would be promoted.
