Our studio is a home where ideas are born, These ideas generate from research and reading; from a single image or from the land itself. We then understand how the building intends to Live; who shall inhabit it and what spaces it shall hold. From its functionality also emerges its identity. We use tools that have been an inherent part of our work through the decades. We work with walls, water, geometry, material and light. These are tools that we use to create the spirit of a space. We are inspired by Indian vernacular architecture and spaces that we love and rest comfortably in our minds eye. Patterns emerge as we begin to play. No two spaces are the same. Each one evolves from its own idea and narrative. With ideas and our tools in hand we now enter the realm of our imagination. Creativity and skill meet and Imagine what they can conjure up together. Each product is reflective of the vision of the maker and out of the shadows of the mind emerges the Forms.
